Music Vlog Post # 2

The shots of me posing is me directing how I wanted Jacqueline to pose.

Currently we have filmed 3 to 4 scenes for our music video. We filmed at the school with Derek being our main videographer, me directing the scenes and Jacquelin being our actor. Some aspects of mis-en-scene that we used were clothing, Jacquelin wore dark colors to express her character of a sad and jealous girl, and glasses to give her the nerd trope, explaining why she is not popular in the music video. Additionally, we do not plan on using any exterior sound, only the cover of the music video as our non diagetic sound. In the scenes we currently have filmed, our sad girl is watching the popular girl, we plan on editing that to cut to a crowd shot of the popular girl and her friends and the cut to a wide shot of the sad girl fast walking to the bathroom. By cutting to these scenes it shows the jealous girls feelings of being left out, which is the story we want to convey of friends drifting apart and how that affects one of them. Lastly we used a lot of one shots when filming to express the sad girls loneliness, and across the room angels to get Jacquelin's body in frame because she is short.
